The decision of WMA to grant the championships to Jyväskylä shows, how highly Finland is appreciated in organizing games. The City of Jyväskylä and Jyväskylä Track and Field Club have always encouraged veteran athletics, which eg. organizing the European Veteran Athletics Championships Stadia in 2000 shows.
We have all that is required to provide this unforgettable event; highly appreciated experience in organizing international competitions, excellent venues within walking distance of each other, outstanding nature close-by, and friendly Finnish people.
